Soapbox moment:

TOP TEN ELEVEN REASONS TO VOTE:

1. It gives you a voice in government. Now you can complain that the country is going to pot because you actually had a say in it.
2. Because it sticks it to the other guy you’re voting against. Come on, all those political ads during Lost, so you KNOW he deserves it!
3. Because you can take a couple of hours off of work and charge for it.
4. Because the current party in power sucks, or the current party in power SUCKS!
5. Because you want to get a rise out of that other news network’s political “correspondents.”
6. Because you thought you were in line for the lottery.
7. Because you thought you were in line for that flu shot.
8. Because you were in line for 6 or 7, you are already at the front of the line, so why the heck not?
9. oh…crap. This isn’t the line for the PS3?!!!
10. To give Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert more material to work withtonight, only to watch it on YouTube at work tomorrow.
11. Because you want to make a DIFFERENCE.
